The Grilling Room has been in business since 2003. Tony Smith, a Florence, AL native,
decided to turn his passion for BBQ into a retail store and a professional competition BBQ team.
Tony has traveled the Southeast and beyond as a certified professional BBQ judge and professional
competitor. As a competitor, he is a veteran of World Invitational Professional Competitions,
including the American Royal, Jack Daniels and MS state champion in 2006.
The Grilling
Room retail store sells the best of what Tony has found on the judging and competition trail The
BBQ grills, smokers, sauces, dry rubs, smoking woods and all natural lump charcoal are brands being
used by the top BBQ champions throughout the South, where BBQ really matters.
The Grilling
Room demos these grills and smokers outside our store on Hermitage Drive every week. Stop by and
taste the "Que" or just join in our everyday BBQ fun!
Also we're a dog friendly environment, so bring your dog if you'd like. Our dogs enjoy swapping stories around the grill.
